Below are my drafts:
Firstly are my drawn ideas for my front cover DigiPack drafts, they explain my initial ideas including where they title of the artist and Digipack are placed, and my idea for the main image on the DigiPack, the third and fourth designs are most effective and feasible to produce in my opinion.

Here are two examples of my drafts I transferred onto a word document, this enabled a larger clear view of my favourite front cover designs, ensuring my groups understanding for my designs:

Natalie a member of my group then created some more front cover designs using a word document, by comparing my drawing and computer drafts I could produce every idea we had ensuring the design we picked was successful. Her designs are simplistic yet effective enabling more inventiveness and progression towards our final design:

The one above is my favourtie out of Natalie's designs, as it wouldn't overbear the consumer with information, this allows the name of the DigiPack and artist to stand out, enabling the main image to be large and persuasive.
Tested ideas
I then progressed to creating my favourite drafts in 'tested ideas', this was benefical so I could show my group my final ideas and we coudl see which idea focused on our indie genre and targeted students the most. I used 'Photoshop' for this as this is used for professional magazine covers, I also found a website which provided further useful editing - http://www.tinypic.com/.
This was the orginal image we created inpspired by the 'Auteurs' DigiPack, we decided to use the same rabbit mask in our music video and our DaigiPack, this is memorable and consumers would be peruaded to buy the DigiPack after recognising the bands video. After research we also deiscovered our image was innovative as most DigiPacks contain the same image of their artist for thier DigiPack and music video.

Here are my drafts I edited from the original:

The font is unusual and bond and the white upport the natural colour scheme and the grass background. I darkened the colour of the background and mask to produce a 'old fashioned' effect, the font layout is clear where the consumer could eaily see the name of the artist.

I produced this draft editing it on http://www.tinypic.com/">http://www.tinypic.com/, this is one of my favourite drafts as I think the 'pop art' effect is captivating. Using all four images on one DigiPack is striking and different, the font reinforces our indie genre, applying the name of the DigiPack smaller enable the artist's name to stand out.

Again I chose to discard the grass background replacing with a solid colour , however I still think the original background is more persuasive. The font from Photoshop supports the one above producing an abstract theme. I edited the rabbit's colour to brown although I feel it clashes with the background colour too much and isn't as effective a the original white for our ideas to the overall colour scheme.

For this draft I moved the image to the centre increasing it's size, as I felt other drafts looked a bit simple and plain. My idea of having the title for the DigiPack and name of artist vertically looks professional and allows the image to be prominent. Again I feel the grassy background heightens this drafts indie effect and the font is vivid yet original reflecting our surreal theme.

This draft is one of my favourites, I edited the background producing a 'curled' effect this made the grass seem more abstract I also think this would stand out against other DigiPacks. Editing the mask so it is curled adds definition to the image without changing it's layout. The font layout supports ideas above, again the vertical title enables the artists name to grab attention and is diverse.

Here I made the image slighter so a bright shadow would cast on the rabbit mask. I like the title 'UFO' being in the centre and the size and font are strong and provide enough space to persuade. I also like the name of the artist in one line as it's informative and allows the consumer to focus on the image and Digipack.

This font is most effective on this draft enabling a 'old fashioned' effect whilst against the green grass together they target our indie/alternative audience. I filled the rabbit with a brighter solid white this contrasts against the edited dark black eye. I moved the 'UFO' font behind the rabbit and separated the title of the artist I think this layout is effective as it's clear and unconventional. The white colour scheme is persuasive without being overbearing.

Here I retained the original background whilst changed the colour of the rabbit mask so it would support the titles, I used orange as this is a vibrant persuasive colour. I think the font is effective but the overall design isn't as appealing as my other drafts, however I like the layout for the text as you can see the artists name clear and the title of the DigiPack 'UFO' clearly.

Having 'UFO' at the top is different, although the overall layout is inconsistent when crowded in places so I wouldn't use this. I like the black background against the white rabbit mask and fonts providing an interest.

For this draft I made the edges 'blurred' this supports our surreal music video and is distinctive. I kept the original colour scheme and image only moving the layout for the artist title in the centre and the Digipack's title by the rabbit this proves effective.

I edited the pixels in the image so it produced an animated 'drawing,' this is effective and would persuade the consumer. The layout for the font isn't one of my favourites as it looks slightly messy, however I would consider this draft for the cartoon effect.

For this draft I used my other font and placed it horizontal across the rabbits eyes, centering the image and increasing it's size enabled this. Although this design is plain it's still impressive and I think it's simplicity would attract the consumer against harsh crowded DigiPacks.

For the draft I only produced the title of the artist, this is effective but doesn't provide the consumer with information for the title of the DigiPack so I probably won't use this idea. I edited the colours from the original, I like the alluring red against the darker on the rabbit.

A member of my group Natalie created this draft, it was useful as I could compare her designs to mine so we could choose a successful final cover for our DigiPack. I like the edited shading produced on this image and feel this is just as effective as a bright white. However I still prefer the grass background above to the black, I also prefer the title of the DigiPack to be positioned in the corner, providing more space and clarity.

I prefer the other font I have used for this design however the layout and colour scheme is still effective, changing the colour of the rabbit to a dark navy makes the image more frightening supporting our surreal theme, I also lightened the grass this helps the colours scheme compel.
