Planning- My costume ideas

I took several photos using my digital camera of some of my outfits that I think could be suitable for the actors costumes which reflect our 'indie' genre particularly 'students'. I then uploaded the photos to my computer using a USB stick, then saving them as images so I could upload them onto blogger.
Here are the images below:

I like the idea of the female actors wearing bright colours as this would contrast with our dark, intriguing, location in the woods. I also think the bright pink looks the most bold and would create interesting shots against the chaotic colourful makeup.

These dresses would be suitable for Jo our main actor to wear, the flowers evoke a surreal theme. The gold would also attract our audience and reiterate the effortless yet attractive nature of her character.

I think these shirts would also amplify the actors outfits either worn over the top or underneath so the patterns contrast with their main costume. These shirts are also more accessible than other costumes as male and female actors can use them.

This image is of all my props at my home which I think will be effective for our actors. As you can see the contrast of the different colours, shapes and style would create a variety of angelic shots. It is also good to have a wide range of ideas in case our main costume or prop became unavailable.

I like this image as the prints are stimulating although I don't think Jo our main actor should wear these as her character is less abstract and bold than the other actors e.g clown and rabbit.

These different skirts would be effective for our fairy character, I like the bright prints reflecting our abstract ideas.

The gold dress would be perfect for our fairy providing supporting the characters feminine nature, the black and white patterned dress would be interesting for the actors looking particularly effective with the clown mask this juxtaposition would add a mysterious mood to our shots.

Here are my drawings for my costume ideas/props for the actors, I have annotated my justifications for our main actors Jo costume, an example of one of the other actors costume and prop ideas.
