This Digipack cover inspired our group because of the surreal and abstract atmosphere created by the grass and the 'white' neutral colour scheme. The big font is eye catching supporting the interesting image, the explanation mark '!' and the phrase "WATCH THIS..." is intriguing creating a persuasive statement. It also supports our 'indie/alternative' genre of music and as the person looks young reflects our 'student' audience.
Following the design above we were inspired to use the natural picturesque background but use grass instead of trees to create a surreal 'uphill' approach, the white colour scheme was also effective, our bold costumes and props would work stimulate against the simplistic setting. After designing our own ideas we decided to collaborate characteristics of our 'The Auteurs' cover and our initial idea above.
